This is a one-act play.
The play is set near a river. It features one character – a man around 40 or 50 years old. The man has a flute tied to a rope around his waist which he plays occasionally. He pulls a cart filled with sacks of earth. The play takes place just as the sun is setting. The man takes earth from the sacks and lays it on the ground, preparing a bed for himself.
