El barbero de Picasso (2008), Borja Ortiz de Gondra

English title: Picasso and his barber
Date written: 2008

The amazing story between Pablo Picasso and the only person who dared to speak the truth to him - his barber.

Based on real facts, the play follows the ups-and-downs of two Spanish exiles in France during the Franco era: the world's best-known painter, Pablo Picasso, and the humble barber who will become indispensable to him. Both have a hatredof Fascism, a love of bullfighting, and very strong opinions about modern art.
