Based on real facts, the play follows the ups-and-downs of two Spanish exiles in France during the Franco era: the world's best-known painter, Pablo Picasso, and the humble barber who will become indispensable to him. Both have a hatredof Fascism, a love of bullfighting, and very strong opinions about modern art.
