The play is divided into six short scenes. The scenes have the following headings:
The play starts off in a meeting space, perhaps a hall or a theatre, where workers are gathering to discuss the financial crisis. A loudspeaker makes announcements to the audience. Scene 2 takes place in a supervisor’s office. When the supervisor pulls back a curtain the audience can see the work floor, where employees are operating machinery. Scene 3 takes place in a bar. Scene 4 takes place in a child’s bedroom. Scene 5 takes place in a living room, as does scene 6. The living room in scene 6 is that of a very lavish family home. At the end of this scene, the Father throws files into a fire.
The play text suggests that each scene ends with a piece of music or a poem. Most of the musical decisions are left up to the director. Scene 2 ends with a particular piece of punk music entitled Agotados de esperar el fin (Tired of Waiting for the End).
