This play is one act with two scenes.
A gallows in the middle of the Square. Filth, blood and debris everywhere. It is just past noon, and the sun beats down on the setting. There are flies, flies everywhere. Goter lies on the platform, his head upright in one place, his body stretched out in another. He moves his eyes around in every direction possible. Down below on the pavement is Moter, in a similar position.
Giuseppe Verdi's requiem is played at the end of the play.
