This is a three-act comedia.

Staging

Many of the characters are at some point mad. There should be incarceration materials such as chains, cuffs or cages for the scenes that take place in the mental asylum; Floriano is held in leg-irons and Erífila in handcuffs at one stage. There is also some dressing-up and costumes are needed for the play-within-the play.
