Gracia Morales acted in this production, as she has done in many subsequent productions in Spain.
This production received good reviews. Writing in La Nación, Carlos Pacheco notes that while the play may initially be perceived as ‘female’ in its outlook, it does in fact explore very basic human issues, regardless of gender. He asks, ‘Which of us hasn’t looked back on memories, sometimes desperately, to find something that might explain current behaviour?’ (2003).

This production was well received. In her review, Rosalind Lacy was impressed by the way the sensitive subject of domestic violence was handled in a way that was interesting and complex. She describes the play as ‘delightfully tragic and enjoyable to watch’, adding that ‘this perfect storm is much more than a sensitive tribute to a loving daughter’s memory of her mother’ (2011).
