- Critical response
Although this production put the action into a modern setting, Juan Ignacio García Garzón was nonetheless impressed by how timeless the character of Mihura’s confirmed bachelor Alfredo remains (2002). Garzón also praised the quality of the acting, particularly that of Esperanza Roy, who performed all the female roles (2002).
